Along Side Ministries needs your help to touch lives inside Arizona’s jails and prisons! Donate your time and energy and watch lives change before your eyes. If God is leading your heart to make a difference, check out the listings below and contact us today! 

Preaching Pastor

  • Lead monthly church services in prison.

  • Prepare and deliver sermons to inmates, sharing the message of salvation and sanctification to the inmates.

  • Be clear and relevant about God’s Word in your preaching. Bringing hope to these men/women.

  • Inform inmates about Along Side Ministries

  • Counsel and pray with inmates as requested

 

Prison Pastor's serve once a month in the evening from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. At least a one-year commitment.

Bible Study Teacher

Teach the Word of God to inmates using the scriptures as your text.

  • Teach God’s Word that is clear, relevant and applicable to their lives.

  • Connect with inmates in ways that spur them on toward belief and application of God's Word.

  • Inform inmates about Along Side Ministries

 

Bible Study teachers serve 2-3 times a month in the evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. At least a one-year commitment.

Worship Leader

The worship leader works closely with the pastor in leading worship services in our prisons. Chose and lead worship songs that engage the inmates and support the reading and preaching of God's Word.

  • Work with the pastor(s) to provide cohesive worship experiences including new and traditional songs which enable the congregation to worship together.

  • Responsible for distributing and collecting the sheet music

  • Responsible for sound equipment and prison "Approved Equipment List" (staff assisted)

  • Connect with inmates in ways that spur them on toward belief and application of God's Word

Worship leaders serve a minimum of once a month in the evening from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

 

At least a one-year commitment.
