Job Title: Marketing Manager

Position Summary: The Marketing Manager works with the Executive Director to develop and execute ASM’s marketing plan. This includes general ministry marketing, campaigns, collateral development, website optimization, social media marketing, email marketing, and special events.
Essential Functions: The Marketing Manager is responsible to:
• Market ASM externally and internally.
• Prepare and conduct quality public and internal events.
• Prepare and post blogs and social media content.
• Prepare and release periodic newsletters, appeals, and other publications through mail or digitally.
• Develop collateral pieces for general ASM or specific segments.
• Develop marketing tool kits for stakeholders to use when delivering presentations.
• Manage relationships with marketing vendors.
• Craft messaging for campaigns or initiatives to use in external marketing packages.
• Prepare reports on the effectiveness of the ASM marketing efforts.
• Establish and adhere to project timelines to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Monitor the website to ensure effectiveness, accurate and timely information, user-friendliness, and search engine optimization.
• Research, prepare, and submit content for grant opportunities.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Ministry, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum three years experience in marketing.
• Non-profit marketing experience preferred.
Skills:
• A solid and credible Christian witness and lifestyle that exemplifies Christ in character and actions.
• Good working knowledge of nonprofit marketing.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Work independently as well as work effectively in a team environment.
• Good interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively work with others.
• Ability to efficiently and effectively organize, prioritize and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Ability to initiate and follow through on all assignments, with attention to detail.
• Ability to achieve results and meet deadlines.
• A command of all Microsoft Office and software applications used by the ministry.
• Professional manner, appearance, and communication.
• Proficient in Word Press, HTML, Social Media, and Website optimization. Skilled in Adobe Photoshop.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and non-profit Google Grants.
• Success Managing marketing campaigns as well as personnel.
• Must meet and maintain the requirements of being an approved ASM driver.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality of ASM administrative and programmatic information.
