Ready·Set·Go
READY: After you have reviewed all the information available on this website, pray about how God might be leading you to join Him in His work with prisoners, ex-offenders and their families. In the Gospel of Matthew, the disciples ask Jesus, “when did we see you in prison and visit you?” And the King replied in Matthew 25:40; “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Perhaps you are Ready today to take that step of faith, along an amazing journey with God, in ministry to His children coming out of prison.

SET: When the Lord puts the Ready in your heart, then it is time to get Set. We cannot do this alone. This mission field requires the grace of God and the truth of His Word. This is God’s story and He has invited us to play a part. Jeremiah 29:11-13 says; “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

GO: God has revealed that you are Ready, you know in your heart that you are Set – now what? This was one man’s response; Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'” (Isaiah 6:8). How will we respond to Christ’s words - GO and make Disciples. The work is not easy and there will be set-backs; but then lasting change does not happen overnight.
