Jail Prayer Team
We believe that prayer is a command from God, and is vital to all that He wants to accomplish on earth. We pray because we love God and depend on Him for everything we do.
The mission and vision of Along Side Ministries is powered by Jesus Christ, grounded in God’s Truth, and underpinned by prayer. God is at work in the hearts of men and women incarcerated in the Maricopa County Jails, and our prayer is that we will be faithful to join Him where He is a work. Pray for salvation for these broken men and women.
Our Jail Prayer Team consists of nearly 100 volunteers, Statewide, who pray for our jail ministry, for the volunteers, for the staff, for the men and women in the Chapel Services, Bible Studies and One-on-One visitations.
We invite you to contact our Jail Prayer Team Coordinator, Barbara Russell, to become a valued member of the Jail Prayer Team. We will post prayer requests, from time to time, on our website and you will personally receive prayer requests throughout the month by e-mail.

If you have a prayer request for a man or women incarcerated in one of the Arizona State or Federal Prisons, or any prison anywhere, please e-mail your request to us at the link below. Our Staff will pray for that person at our Wednesday devotion and prayer time.
